Field Guide to Birds of Prey with Tamarack Wildlife Center In-Person
Join Tamarack Wildlife Center for an opportunity to meet some of their birds of prey, who act as animal ambassadors. While you won't be able to touch or hold these creatures, you'll have the chance to observe several ambassadors up close! Participants will receive a free bird tracker booklet. Additionally, discover their habits and understand their vital role in our ecosystem.
Melissa Goodwill, Outreach and Education Manager, will guide us in getting to know these remarkable ambassadors, fostering inspired connections between our audience and the surrounding natural world.
About Tamarack Wildlife Center: Tamarack Wildlife Center is dedicated to rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife and educating the public about wildlife conservation. Founded in 1989, the center specializes in treating birds of prey and other wildlife species. They prioritize returning rehabilitated animals to the wild, but permanently injured animals may become educational ambassadors. Through live animal presentations and educational programs, Tamarack aims to foster appreciation and understanding of wildlife.
