Paddle Your Way to Adventure: Kayaking 101 In-Person
Adventure awaits! Learn the basics of kayaking from Judy Acker of French Creek Valley Conservancy. This program will cover everything you need to know to get started, from safety tips and paddling techniques to finding the perfect paddling spot.
In this program, you'll learn:
- Essential safety tips and paddling techniques
- How to know when French Creek is safe to paddle on
- How to choose the right kayak for you + what to bring
- Local kayaking destinations to explore
French Creek Valley Conservancy is a private 501(c)3 accredited non-profit land trust dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the exceptional water quality, natural habitat, biological diversity and recreational opportunities of the French Creek Watershed in Northwest Pennsylvania. Our work in land protection, stewardship, education and community outreach is supported by our members, donors and partners.
