Seed To Supper Program In-Person

PennState Extension office is offering a Beginner’s Gardening Course: Learn to Grow Veggies on a Budget at the Meadville Public Library in the South Room. Learn how to build healthy soil, plan your growing space, choose your crops, care for your garden, and harvesting your bounty. There will be cooking demos and tastings of vegetables that you might grow in your garden too. A meet and greet will be held on Thursday, March 28 from 4-6pm at the library and then classes will be held every Monday starting on April 11 and ending on June 27 from 4-6pm. The cost of the program is $20.00, however this program may be free for individuals and families whose household income falls at or below the poverty guidelines. Participants can receive free seeds and other gardening supplies based on availability of those supplies for this program. Pre-registration is required by contacting Kinorea Tigri.
